🔨 Mick – The Boss Man
Owner, captain of the ship, and part-time BBQ critic. Mick’s the one making the big calls and keeping us all in line… most of the time.
💼 Shannon – The Behind-the-Scenes Boss
Company director and Mick’s better half. She’s not in the day-to-day action, but she’s been part of the journey since day one, quietly cheering us on from the sidelines.
👑 Taylia – The Office Queen
She’s the glue that holds it all together (and the one who reminds everyone to hand in their paperwork). Organised, efficient, and armed with a colour-coded whiteboard.
🛠️ Darren – Crimsafe & Glass Guru
If it slides, shatters or needs securing, Darren’s your guy. He knows glass like others know footy stats—and yes, he’s probably measured something today with laser precision.
💪 Mat – The Muscle
Our trusty labourer and the unofficial forklift. Whether it’s lifting, digging or fetching tools someone left on the roof again, Mat’s the man.
🧱 Mitch – Second Year Apprentice
Sharp with the tools and picking up speed. Mitch is getting the hang of it all—and still manages to hog the aux cord.
🎯 Shaun – First Year Apprentice
New to the game but already on the ball. Never late, always keen, and quickly becoming a gun on the tools (and the site banter).
ABOUT US
Tamworth Building and Construction was founded in mid-2016 by Michael and Shannon. Prior to this, Mick had built years of hands-on experience working for a reputable building company.
In 2015, he took his first step into business ownership by launching Crimsafe and Glass, becoming an Authorised Crimsafe Licensee. This venture allowed him to provide custom Crimsafe screens and doors, along with high-quality glass solutions for windows, doors, and shower screens—driven by his passion for home security and desire to offer customers the very best in protection and design.
With a growing reputation for quality and a clear vision for the future, Mick established Tamworth Building and Construction (TBC) in 2016. Since then, TBC has remained committed to delivering exceptional results across renovations, extensions, large sheds, concrete slabs, and new home construction—always with a focus on client satisfaction and long-lasting craftsmanship.
In 2024, building on the success of his existing services, Mick took another exciting step forward by launching Nexus Pools Tamworth. As an Authorised Nexus Pool Dealer, TBC now also specialises in premium fiberglass pool installations. With the same dedication to detail and quality, Nexus Pools Tamworth quickly became a trusted name, helping homeowners transform their outdoor spaces with beautiful, durable pools.
From humble beginnings to a trusted multi-service business, Mick's journey is a true reflection of his commitment to quality, innovation, and customer care. Whether it’s a new build, a custom pool, or enhancing home security, TBC continues to deliver outstanding service across Tamworth and beyond.
